Five nights and four days in fabled Haida Gwaii, an Archipelago approximately 400 kilometres north of Vancouver Island and 100 km from the BC coast. Four days are spent touring the waters around Gwaii Hannas, a protected national park reserve.

The tours are by 10-person Zodiac’s on which we will visit this uniquely beautiful area - often called “The Galapagos of Canada”. We will view extensive and diverse wildlife, ancient Haida sites including a UNESCO Haida world heritage site.

We will spend the nights of August 17th and August 21st at the Seaport Bed & Breakfast in Sandspit, which is run by Moresby Explorers.

Cost: approximately $3,700 Cdn. per person plus airfare to Vancouver, and then to Sandspit on Moresby Island. Return flights with reasonable stopovers in Vancouver are available with Air Canada.

The trip is vigorous and adventuresome, and may involve hikes up to 2 km. A deposit of approximately 25% of the fee will be required to reserve.
